Has anyone tried out the new Toro Beast in 4.9:1, how does it handle pulling large bucktails?

I purchased one a month ago, because I had a bunch of $25 visa gift cards that were about to expire. Got it at a local musky shop, and they weren't doing line spooling at the time because of restrictions for opening, so I don't have line on it yet. Since they spool you up with line at no charge when you buy a reel, I'm waiting until they start doing that. Once I have a chance to use it, I can give an opinion.

I have the t2 in the 4.9 ratio, and it does a fine job with the big bucktails. Sooooo, if the t3 is anything like the t2, it will do a great job. It is what the reel is designed to do. kdawg

I have it and have used it. It's very smooth with big blades i've tried it with both 10s and 12s.
