Location: Holly, MI | Congratulations to Billy Martin for his 40 lb 13 oz musky just caught this weekend on Lake St Clair, Michigan. I don't have any length or other details yet. This report came from a very reliable source, Captain Dan's fishing report from Lakeside fishing shop. The fish had two weight slips and is the biggest verified Musky from Lake St Clair that Capt Dan has ever seen.
Make the trip you guys that are thinking about it. Water temp is in the low 50's and cleared up after the big blow we had for a week straight about a week back. Most of the bigger fish seem to be comming from the Canadian waters but some are also being caught on the American side. The tournement a week ago had 2 fish over 50 with a 52 incher at 32 pounds and a 52 1/2 incher at 38 1/2 pounds! Feel free to pm me if you want more details. Location: michigan | Lobi, you beat me to it! Bill was fishing right next to me when he caught it!!! The fish wasn't that long only 51 1/2" but man was it fat. We were right on the south end of the dumping grounds skirting the border by the c-can. I'm sure glad bill caught it, He has paid more dues than any other fisherman on our lake. I know there are many more out there just based on the size of some of the released fish this summer, there were many in the 35-38lb. range during June, July, and August. On a side note we went 6/8 that night. Good job Bill!!!! Frank. |
