| I'm new to the north metro and hoping someone can point me to where I can get some nice big decoy suckers near White Bear? I'm in new brighton so kind of an odd place between thorne, joes, blue ribbon. Hoping to not trek all over the city. Thanks!!! |

| white bear bait and gas seldomly sells larger (14ish max) suckers, when they do they're cheap @ around 5 to 6 bucks. You can give them a call to check their stash. Likewise, the gas station up by bald eagle typically has them but definitely worth a call to both. |

| Thanks guys. I ended up going to Joe's after making a couple calls. They just got their shipment yesterday and the suckers were in really good shape. Quite a few around 18" and most 14-16".
Unfortunately the musky weren't impressed with me. Spent about 5 hours without a sniff. On a clear lake like WBL is it smart to keep the float further back from the boat? |

On clear lakes I run the sucker quite a bit deeper. Very close to the bottom in fact. |
