Most publications, including In Fish, are designed to provide entertainment and some usefull information at the same time. Any articles written for the magazine by Staff or guest authors are meant to be alittle of both. I frequently disagree with assumptions and claims made in articles in Esox Angler, Muskie Hunter, In Fish, and others, and find some articles to be less than what I hoped for.

That doesn't mean the publication doesn't have merit. Whether one wants to keep a subscription or not is a personal issue, depending on the value of that publication to that individual. I have read articles in magazines that were, in my opinion, total fabrications, and others in the same issue that were very interesting and had strong personal value.

In Fish is still one of the largest fishing related publications in the world. I expect with the staff they have, the writers they publish, and the multi-media approach the company employs, that will be true for some time to come.
