| I have a black suick I was gifted that has hooks that break away from the body. When were these made and were they decent to fish with? |

Those were made back in the middle 80's or so... Never caught on and was discontinued pretty quickly

| Don't they still sell a Mudpuppy top water with that design? I remember fishing a buddy's back in the 1970s. Never caught anything but did have a giant sail right over the top of it on the Three Lakes chain. |

| Suick still sells these on their website. There is more info on them on Suick website also.. They are Called the Sure-Catch. 4 colors available and have a limited addition signed one also.
