Got a 2003 dual console coming to me soon and will be looking to have a kicker on the rig as well. What I am wondering is if any of you know whether or not the boat has a second fuel line for a kicker.
I know it is an easy fix by adding a fuel water separator with if only one fuel line exists, but if there are two lines already there, my job is basically done.
Oh...also...for those that have the middle rod locker on their 617, do you notice the flex in the lid when you step on it? Did you do anything to remedy that? I know the lid is solid, but being as big as it is and being built out of aluminum, it gives a bit and I'm not a huge man by any means...
Any insight out there?

I would install a couple runs of 1x1x1/8" aluminum angle or 1x1x1/8" box tubing to the bottom side to beef it up. Use machine screws and self locking hardware and file any sharp edges. A metal supply house should be able to sell you a stick of material for less than 50 bucks. |
