I am heading to lake miltona this week for the first time. Not looking for anybody's spots. just looking for some info on how to start fishing it (depth, lures. lures colors etc). any info would help. thanks

Was out there over the 4th of july. Action was in the 18-20 ft where the weeds seem to end. Water was 73deg. Prolly about that right now. If i were to go back now, id start at weedy 20 ft and work shallower from there.

Was out there last week but didn't fish. Water temps were 80 but that was before the cold front. Stick with what mnmusky said, keep your boat in 20' and you'll be alright.

Fish the deep breaks. Miltona Flats is a good community area. Any of the midlake humps and deep points. Big Blades, Rubber, Topwater are all good.
