Howdy all,

Just a note of thanks to the many folks who provided tips for my long weekend over near Hudson/Somerset WI. Let's see: MuskyOne, PK, Komer, and who else? Fished the St. Croix at Stillwater Friday evening (blanked on that very muddy water), Bone Lake with PappaJoe for 12 hours on Saturday (Pappa got a low 30"s, I got an upper 30"s), Cedar Lake with Pappa for a couple hours on Sunday (blanked), Kentuck Lake for 6 hours on Monday evening and 2 more on Tuesday late-morning (blanked and blanked).

The Dead show was a grand time in all ways. Komer, did you enjoy the show?

Hi Gang,
For those that are curious, her's the setlist from the Dead show in Somerset:
>08/03/03 (Sun) Float Rite Amphitheater - Somerset, WI
>Set 1: Music Never Stopped, Dupree's Diamond Blues, Minglewood Blues, Big
River *, Desolation Row*, Johnny B. Goode*, Iko Iko, Althea, Cosmic Charlie
>Set 2: Jam > New Speedway Boogie, Brown Eyed Women, She Said She Said, Cold
Rain & Snow, Smokestack Lightning, Eyes of the World > Drums > Space >
>Standing On the Moon, Samson & Delilah, E: We Bid You Goodnight
* w/ Bob Dylan on keyboard/scruffy vocals

It was a much better Dead show than July 1 in Milwaukee.

And, it was great to catch a muckie much earlier in the season than last year!

Ranger is an excellent camping and fishing partner!!

Have a groovy day,
Papa Joe

And I couldn't have had such a great time without PapaJoe's excellent company, plus the music he brings in the boat. This time he hardly left anything in my boat/van that I'll need to return to him.

Seriously, if the band plays Somerset again next summer, the few Dead fans on the board should plan a little outing.
