| This is for the true maniac that can pitch lures all night. What are your favorite night hours? Mine are, 1 hour before dawn and 1 hour after sunset. I've never hooked up much on a quiet midnight. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I used to fish at night alot, now only do that in late October and early November for big 'eyes and muskies. I like the first true dark hour and the hour before dawn too. Getting old sucks. |

Location: Des Plaines, IL | I'm a night-owl myself and as the sun sets I start twitchin'. My favorite time to be on the water is from about 7-9pm and I have been known to stay out till the weeeee hours of the morning....well after 3am. I've also been known to head out at 10pm and stay out till 6-7am. There's nothing like "Night" fishing. It's a time that you rely on all your senses as opposed to sight fishing. Some of my best and biggest (48")have come at night as well as my 1st...I landed her at 10pm. Lets not forget there's less traffic to deal with too!
I'm heading north this weekend and plan to do some "Night Stalking" for sure.
Tight lines to ya,
Karen

| On dark water I rarely had much go past 10:30pm. 4am was the dawn start time.
After some clear water fishing, I would be reluctant to get off pressured clear water lakes until at least 11:30pm. |

Location: Stevens Point, Wi. | I love the early mornings, especially on the heavier pressured lakes. Then it's off for a good breakfast when the 'normal' peeps invade. |
