| New to me anyhow, it has been awhile since I bought a new one.
The Mag Bulldawgs no longer have the top hook?
I also bought my first regular Shallow Bulldawg. No top hook either.
I also notice they seem thinner and the eye are more "bulging". I like the design.
When did that change?
I guess that shows that either I have way too many 'dawgs already, they are durable, or I'm not catching enough fish....probably all of the above.

Location: Kodiak, AK | I wanna say that was like 2012 or 2013 that the eyes changed and the top hook was gone maybe 2011. Just a rough guess. |

Location: E. Tenn | The first ones I saw without the top hook were at this year's Chicago show..All three sizes had no top hook. |

| I think the newer ones are better.
The top hook is unnecessary.
The newer tails are a little thicker.
The newer pounders I have purchased run better IMO. |

Location: NE Ohio | i was told at this years muskie max show in their booth that all of the new harnesses starting this year had no top hook. the ones with the top hook are the older harness. so if you like the top hook get-m while you can! |
