Location: Mound, MN | I know this question has been asked before--if a consensus has been reached and someone can point me in that direction I'd appreciate it.

I've finally had enough of the small-mesh netting on the TS116Y. I appreciate the light weight of the net and how easy it is to fold up, but if a fish starts spinning in the net you end up with a huge mess.

I occasionally fish alone so I'd still like to be able to maneuver the net with one hand. I also do one fly-in trip a year (the reason why I bought the collapsible net in the first place) but I can always put the old net on if I absolutely have to fold the net up for that trip.

The hoop dimensions are 36" x 38" (net depth is 48", which seems sufficient). I'd like a net with coated, large-mesh netting that's still reasonably light. What are people using as a replacement bag for this net? Any suggestions? |

  | Anyone have any luck tracking down a 4666 lately?

Thought about trying the drifter XXL bag since I can't find the 4666 anywhere. |

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | Call thorne brothers. Their website said they were out, but I got a spare bag in April from them. They had 10 or so... |

Location: Uxbridge Ontario | Is the Stowmaster TS116Y the net used on the Musky hunter show? I noticed the bag is very heavy like the powercatch or something like that. I take it they have put a new bag on it. Anyone know what it is?

I really dislike the fin saver bags with all the rips and hook tangles it generated. |
