I have a 1 yr old NACL 60 HS and the drag slips on it. I have it spooled with mono first and then 100lb suffix 832. I took the line down to the mono and watched the spool turn as I pulled on the line with my hand as the drag was locked all the way down. I'm not a mechanic, so I'm asking how I fix it? I have a trip to LOTW starting august 1st so I need it ready to go before I leave for that trip.

Thanks,

Aaron

Did you lube them reel recently? The drag washers probably have too much grease/oil on them. Take it apart and wipe them off. You could also order some Carbontex washers off ebay and replace the factory ones with them.

Also make sure the spring washers are on correct. I put mine back together wrong and the drag was slipping.

TORO REELS comes with CARBONTEX WASHERS from ABU
if they have oil and grease on them just soak them in acetone and dry and reinstall.
