| Question for everyone,
I've been using the HI Suick for 2 seasons now. This bait has quickly become my go to lure for finding fish. However, I've yet to be able to get one to eat the thing. I like having a fish finder I can have confidence in, but I'd also really like to see the thing get smacked.
Additionally, how are folks tuning it? I've had good results with a modest bend in the tail, but I know people do all kinds of things to these baits, so just curious what other folks like to do. |

Location: Minnesota. | Just fish it Brad and have confidence. I never got used to tossing a Suick as I got backlashes back 20 yrs. ago. Since the HI Suicks came out they're a tad heavier and makes a diff.
Anyways, have confidence. They do very nicely. Trust that!!! And I've modified a few with a small fluttering blade in back of the tail but I'm not sold on it outperforming the plain old out-of-the-box baits!
My favs. are black and the Sucker colors. I got hit hard and deep by a large fish this morning. Never saw her.
Fish 'em!! |

| I love them for our Europe pike fishing, and i know a lot of people are trying to make them dance/WTD but i seem to have the best luck with the ones that just do a straight dive and rise. Caught a 45.5 incher on one. |

Location: WI | Luv the 10" HI. I've had my best luck really mixing up the retrieve. Depending on depth, I start with a long pull or 2, followed with a variety of twitches, pauses, pulls, and even the occasional dear stick. Try different retrieves & let the muskies decide. |
