Taking my boat to Canada in a few weeks, are there any laws regarding what equipment MUST be in the boat?

A google search led me to believe that all that is required is that of the country the boat is registered in. But I couldn't find much on the issue.

From that link:
"Foreign pleasure craft (pleasure craft that are licensed or registered in a country other than Canada) need to comply with equipment requirements of the country in which the vessel is usually kept."

This would be a good one to know... And make the CO aware of if ever questioned.
