I am taking some kids out on my boat on Big Green Lake in Wisconsin next weekend. I want to put them on some smallmouth for some fun, but I have never fished this lake before.
Can anyone point me to a general area where I might start the search ?
I'd assume this time of year we'd be looking for rocky reefs in about 10 feet of water, but not sure about ANY specific patterns on this lake.

Thanks

Staying on the north shore, just west of the town.

Big Green was very good.....caught some big smallies near Heidle House shoreline. Two topped 4 pounds. Very limited time on water due to some terrific golf at nearby Lawsonia (Woodlands and Links courses.)
