Hi Guys, I don't know about you but I found that I always had a mess on deck when it came to rod storage. I personally run 4 rods (big bait, big blade, jerk bait, all purpose), drop all 4 on the deck and its a fight to do a quick change over. Add in your boat mates rods....well you know. So this is what I came up with.. it stores 2 rods each up to 8.5' in a fast draw. I do 2 more on the front deck on the starboard side, because of the controls I'm limited to 7.5' on that side but it stores my jerk rod and a walleye rod in a quick draw configuration. that leaves me a rod or two on the deck, 1 musky, 1 walleye, and leaves the rest for my boat mate to fight with. I thought I would post this as I've seen some of the crew here doing some work on their rigs. Boat is an '03 Crestliner 1750sc.

That is really well done. I could use something like that in my boat.

These holders are another great option: http://www.linekeeper.net/product-p/sku20234.htm

They'll cut the mounting bracket to any length. I have 4 mounted starboard side on my boat...

I originally had them set up in a similar fashion but it seemed like the tips would get tangled up when trying to get one out quickly. This way both front and rear fishermen have 2 rods that can be pulled out pretty quickly for follow up casts and such. I figured I would post some pictures so the guys who don't have the best rod storage already available might get some ideas how to improve their rig. Before I did this it always seemed the rod I wanted to grab fast was under a few other rods with the tips tangled in the line.

Heres a picture of the starboard side. I'm limited to 7.5' and 8' on the bottom rod
