Location: Stevens Point, WI | Has anyone ever tried the bucktail leaders that have a willow blade and clevis on them? I noticed a whole section with some neat color patterns at Fleet Farm and well....you know I had to pick one up to try it. I could see the benefit of added flash and vibration, but will this make fish go for that blade and not the bait itself, thereby reducing the hooking percentage of a bucktail? |

Location: Stevens Point, Wi. | I've been making and using them for years. Some with small blades and some with prop type spinners. At times they seem to make a difference in fish seen. They also work great on twitch and jerk baits. Never had a problem with fish hitting the blades. |

| If you had the blade closer to the bait, I think it would simulate your bait feeding on smaller food. I know a few who believe that a feeding baitfish is a great trigger for muskies.

| I think you are talking about the Billy Finn Toga leaders. I have used them a little bit, with no success. I'm sure they will produce if I would've given them more time. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | They are the Billy Finn model. I plan on making some of my own solid leaders this year and will try to experiment with different blade styles and colors. |
