Location: Madison, WI | Has anyone used self-etching primer as a base coat for blades prior to painting?
If so any brand recommendations?
Thanks in advance for any input!

Location: Madison, WI | Thanks.
Where do you buy it? Any tips on use? Do you rough the blades up first still?
Thanks again

Location: WI | I scuff them with a red scuff pad and spray with a paasche single stage external mix gun. As long as you keep the gun clean it's not too bad.
Lessonal is a automotive brand that I get at my local auto paint supply. It's white and covers nice. Also it allows you up to 7 days to spray over before it has to be sanded. I do from 6-60 baits at a time and just give a light scuff if a few days pass before I spray. For blades you will have to reduce it a bit.

| if you use the correct prime theres no scuffing involved. |
