Yes - although I have never fished it. I do know of a fella that fishes it all winter long and catches some nice fish.

Yes. Although i saw alot of ice floating on the river today. Agree with feeder creeks. Especially when there's a melt off and the water level is high. I catch high numbers of sheephead, sauger and bass. I only hooked up with one muskie during the winter though. I'm near Pittsburgh so perhaps it may be better where you plan to go
