Location: NE PA | There are a lot of DVDs out there that show guys catching fish and are entertaining. I enjoy watching people catch fish as much as the next guy, but what about those that are aimed toward information/tactics? I'm interested in any, but especially looking for any that are geared toward river fishing. thanks in advance guys,

Location: St Paul, Minnesota | I second toothycritter88's Greg Thomas suggestion, the guy breaks down tips, tricks, and tactics pretty well.
Steering away from DVD's I remember watching the first 5 seasons of "The Next Bite" for free on the website, I think they can be found on youtube but I could be wrong... Nonetheless, youtube is your best friend during the "winternet". Gregg Thomas, Uncut Angling, Keyes Outdoors, The Next Bite (Pete Maina), and various other guys all put out quality video clips worth checking out (for free).
Good luck!

I have this one. Excellent video! Big part of the reason I made this post. I want others similar to it. Thanks!
On a side note, I purchased his "summer" DVD and was not nearly as impressed. |

| Check out Youtube. You can find a lot of great videos and material there. DVDs are nice when you are on a fishing trip in areas with limited reception. It seems they fall into two categories. Great action videos catching a lot of fish and instructional videos. I like the In-Fisherman instructional videos. |
