I threw out all my other lures. Then I spent $700 on the most expensive rod and reel I could buy just to throw cowgirls. Then I spent another $700 buying cowgirls in every color and blade combination. I even have a musky mayhem hat...
Now you're telling me that other lures work, too, sometimes even better??

If you don't have any double 10's, your missing out.
Ya jwelch i agree, just because you have them doesnt mean you have to throw them 24/7, but they are a vaulable tool in your arsenal. |

| Fishing mainly in Illinois, knowing that lures are only tools is very imporant, but in Minnesota, someone in each boat should spend a lot of time throwing one. If not, you are missing out on fish. The results speak for themselves. There is a reason so many people including most guides are throwing them daily. Not because they are following a fad or because they dont know how to catch fish on other lures, but because they work, and work good. |

Bought some bucktails over the winter that have double 15's willow blades on it, and had Matt over at Huntertail Bucktails custom tie a couple of lureswith single # 15 colorado blades on them. These things dwarf a cowgirl. Cant wait to try them. |

Location: syracuse indiana | alot on the double showgirls.. we use them when you can burn them over the flats and they cast like a rocket. and also i have started using the baby girls and they are just as good as the showgirls but a tad smaller....bill |

That's why they basically put them away for about a month last season and started burning Baby Girls...

| I never get sick of hearing the clank of DCGs. I love happy hooker's take on this one. My favorite DCG related story happened last July on a deep, clear, cisco based lake in Vilas Conty WI. I was fishing out of a 14' aluminum bench seat boat and around the corner comes the 35K Ranger. I am sure you can guess where this is headed. They are both pounding away at a shoreline in mid-day sun in the middle of July working at mach 2 throwing DGCs. I am fairly sure they didn't see me land a plumb 42" in the middle of the lake working a Curly Sue 20' down over 35' of water. Still brings a smile to my face every time I think about it.
Question: Who misses out on more fish thew guy never using a DCG or the guy only using a DCG? I'll vote for the guy ONLY using a DCG. |

| I've had up to 7 fish nights fishing with cowgirls behind 2-5 other boats... that were fishing with cowgirls. You still have the variables of boat control, placing accurate casts, and retrieve speed, their an exceptional tool when the fish are on them and I throw them all the time.
That said I got my but kicked last week by the two people behind me in the boat, I was throwing a Jr. cowgirl and they both had rad dog spinnerbaits on. I switched to an M/G and managed to do pretty decent... it just depends on the situation. |

| I don't like to get hung up on a hype bait either,but I'm for sure seeing more fish per time used with the DCG.It sucks because I hate throwing a heavy retrieving lure like that. |
