| looking for a good swimbait to spend my money on. what is the best rubber swimbait out there for general use? quality, price, customer service, strikes, etc. Not looking for tubes. |

Location: Kodiak, AK | I like Shack Attack alot for alot of reasons and have alot of his baits. But I've also become a fan of Guide Dog Tackle. Good baits, good heavy clear coat like a Pro Dawg, great colors and I like the head profile. And they'll take a beating really well. And I just like the hooks he uses on his clear coat baits. Add to the quality of his baits his customer service and I'm a fan.
BTW, do have a few RubberHairys and SuperD's. Both also great baits all the way. |

Location: Oconto Falls, WI | HARDHEAD! Haven’t thrown a bulldawg since Roger came out with these. Durability is great being a part hard/part soft bait with a replaceable tail. Also because of the hard head portion the hooking percentage on this bait compared to other all rubber baits is far superior. If a fish eats it you will more than likely catch it. I couldn’t say that about the all rubber stuff.
The bait’s versatility is great as the tail is a screw on. Not only can you replace it when it is chewed up, but running the tail up or tail changes the action. Great rocking action with a slower drop with it up, and a straight swim and faster drop with tail down. Add some lead to the weight inserts in the bait and the bait can be fished anywhere.
Roger’s customer service is top notch! I haven’t been treated better by anyone else!

| SuperDs all the way. By far the best quality for the best price. Had problems with other swimbaits in the past falling a part adn the lead coming out the head and really love the coil harness James has in his SuperDs. |

| HARDHEAD ABSOLUTELY! Ciscokid descibed it perfectly. Very versitle, work it like a traditional dawg or get a great swing and "hang" with a little more aggresive retrieve.
One of the best built baits on the market and top notch customer service by ROGER WATERS.
The Hardhead is responsible for the biggest fish in my boat the past 3 seasons up to 49.5" and a giant over 50" last season lost because of operater error (all Wisconsin fish).

| Big vote for James at TI. Never have I seen a muskie lure company give so much to kids and Veterans charities. Hats off to James and his giving as well as the quality of his products, customer service and prices. Keep it up James.

| I like a lot of baits listed in this category, but when I think swimbait I think of the paddletail type or the s-shaped swimbaits and I never go long without throwing a huddleston swimbait. You can slow roll it or burn it and the action is always vertical and tight, unless you give it a rip during the retrieve and it turns on its side quickly before righting itself, which is an added bonus. I get tons of follows and lots of figure eight fish on it. I like some of the similar type swimbaits, but they are missing the foam in the head that keeps it running vertical in the water and when you give it slack it falls in a 45 degree angle rather than going head down. Great lure. For the s-type swimbait, the swimmin cisco is an awesome lure too. |

| Just got my SuperD order form Tackle Industries and can not be happier with them. Figured for less money I might get less but looks like in this case I got my money's worth plus a little more! Great colors too. Pictures on the website do not do these lures justice. Got a free lure too with my order. |

| There are a lot of great baits in this list, but I'd have to go with the one that has been good to me the most recently. The Twisted Tullibee from RubberHairy Tackle put a 48" in my net and a friend fishing in Canada just missed a 40 lb class fish on one that rolled on him at the boat. Easy bait to glide over the tops of weeds as it's a bit lighter than most and has an extended glide.

| I would say to try the PK Extreme Action Swimbait. They have ridges along the body to give off extra vibration, a split tail, glow powder in the plastic and they come in 6" sizes. They work well for tiger muskies. |

Location: Michigan | I think each bait has its time and place, but if I had to pick one it would be a SuperD. Great hopping action, great durability with the rubber and the internal harness, great price, and great customer service. A lot of great baits on the list but my vote goes to the SuperD. |
