Caught my first in '74, 11yrs old, 32", Big Arb, Abu garcia 5000 and a 5'6" rod, mepps musky killer brass blade/squirrel tail, and of course, fed our family with him. Since then, haven't counted, but well over a hundred...all released. Biggest being 51.5 LOTW in "03. Still looking for a 40lb wisconsin fish, hopefully this year.

Hi,

I caught my first legal muskie back in 1978 and I've never looked back. For some insane reason I've always found these fish something special. I've never caught that magic 50" but have been lucky enough to catch lots of mid and upper 40" fish. I love to catch fish but even more satisfying is watching a new angler catch his or her first fish. Man this is a great sport. Good luck this season everyone.

Thanks

Dave

Been fishing for these fish for 23 years and counting. Never hit the 50" or bigger mark....yet. Biggest to date: 48" x 23" @ 32 lbs.

Still having a blast regardless. I don't have to have a 50 in my lifetime either....I'll still have a blast all the same.

Would I LIKE a 50+ inch? Well sure! But it's not needed. I just enjoy my time on the water and being away from work. Catching fish is just an added bonus no mater what size or species it is.

I am totally with tomyv, been fishing em for 10 years and have a 49'' 35lber,
but likewise won't discuss the things I have seen. Not to mention a partner landing a 55lber.
I am still sick.
She'll come.

Been chasing them for six years now. 50" is my biggest. This fish got me hooked, like I say six years ago while bass fishing. 6lb test mono, did alot of back reeling.
