Well those should just about be perfect for most. Shimano listened. I would be watching for some sweet deals on used reels people will be dumping.

I'm a little confused...are these supposed to be like smaller versions of the current Tranx? Or a different reel entirely?

By the looks of the pics, they are kind of completely different. The exterior appears to be anyway.

Yeah the price is what confused me the most. Same name but some of them close to half the price.
