I have two tips to make your christmas more enjoyable:

If your gathering is at noon, show up around 9am.
Do the muskies inc. shuffle. As soon as the last gift is opened get up and say "ok we are out of here" and leave.

merry christmas everyone!

Hey Davej, a friend of mine plays guitar and dobro(sp), and we volunteered to do that song at my daughters "Holiday/Winter program" with the kids singing along with the chorus. I don't think that there is a better song for The Holidays for anybody who has kids, and it is SO politically correct, but the music teacher shot it down....because we're not affiliated with school. He can remember my non-affiliation the next time that they want help to set up tables and chairs or need volunteers for anything else.
The pastor at our church said he'll put us up in the choir loft next year right at the beginning of the childrens sermon.
I have a tough time getting through that song without getting choked up.

Hi Gang,
Merry Christmas from the hinterland.

Thanks all you freaks for improving my year in 2003. Great to meet many of you in Morson and Cass Lake, and to see others again and get to know a really great group.

Your enthusiasm is contagious, esp you guys like Mikie and Ranger Rick.
People who gave me rides like those 2 and Shady, Treats, GregM, Mike's "Extreme" Keopp (I'll get those spinnerbaits before spring, I promise) and his cool friend Bruce.

Thanks Gene for arranging the ride for Coach Bob, and putting him on his biggest fish ever. Thanks SteveH for getting him home. Thanks Teck for getting me home Sunday, you allowed me 2 extra days to fish! And thanks JohnMD for catching that monster with Schram on board. If I have my numbers straight, that's the ONLY muskie he successfully netted this season. Scared the rest away.

Thanks Muskie First guys for the site, outings planning, and your generosity.

It's tough to meet cool people these days. Nice to have stumbled upon such a concentration here.

Peace & Happiness in 2004 (and of course more big fish!),

Wow, 2004. That seems almost impossibe to me. As I get older ( something I can't seem to sidestep) time seems to be speeding up. 2003 was a great Muskie year, and went by me like a streak. How the heck does one slow this down??

Happy New year, everyone. Be safe New Year's Eve, and may your net be wet ALOT in 2004.
