Location: Forest Lake, MN & Bemidji, MN | I am considering upgrading my TM and electronics next year and have a question. If I purchase an ipilot link add-on for a Terrova, does the Terrova need to have auto-pilot? I see some base models for sale with no auto-pilot and thought perhaps since the ipilot link is an add-on that the add-on may also include the auto-pilot component. I may not be explaining this properly as I do not know all the terminology but I think someone will understand what I am getting at. Yes, I know I can call minnkota. Thanks |

| You don't need to buy a toerrova with auto pilot. The base model will work. 99% sure

| You can buy a terrova with I pilot link already installed or you can add it to any existing terrova. |

I was trying to figure out if I could put the add on onto a base model Terrova so I can figure out the most cost effective approach. Thanks for the link to the other forum Q&A. I only googled info on the ipilot link and not the regular ipilot. It really helped. |
