I have two young boys that are ate up with fishing and a wife that could take it or leave it. What I am looking for is someplace that we could maybe get into some good walleye action or maybe pike for the kids and wives and still be able to be fairly close go some good ski action for myself and my dad. I am also looking for something not to far from civilization so we can take the wives into town for a day or two. I have never fished north of Indiana or Illinois so I really don't have a clue which direction to look. Thanks in advance for the help!!!!!

Location: Northern Wisconsin
Oneida or Vilas county. Tons of lakes and lots of touristy towns near.

Here is what I do:
Look at the document below for an A1/A2 or even B class lake. Find on map and look for nearby towns /other lakes. Search for lake name on google or here and try to find any reviews. If you're going for a short trip I suggest an A2 lake.

I've fished the Chippewa Flowage for years with family. Good fishing related to any species. Close to town, lots to do in the Hayward area. Pm if you have any questions. Be glad to help with the area or fishing

I worked for Pleasant Pines Resort in Hackensack,MN for 5 years. Beautiful country, tons of lakes, got a few musky lakes in Longeville and Cass and Leech are a stones throw away
