I'm heading here for the opener this year. I hope the water starts warming up. Anyone have suggestions on baits or areas to focus on? I'm sure I'll try it all but any inside tips would be helpful.

i think he means musky opener Matt... COLD water for sure. stick to the dark water lakes. warm faster.

You are correct Hawk. I am heading up there regardless May 23 - 28th. I am figuring to start shallow and small in the warmest water and work my way out from there. We shall see how cold the water will be. Do you think mid 40's around that time?
