Hey whats going on guys. Im pretty bored just like the rest of you and started thinking about forage base on the chain. Would you consider shad to be the main forarge base for musky on the chain?? How do you use forage to try to pattern musky on the chain??? Thanks

Hey Chris, you are correct when you say shad. Primary but not the only forage. Like the saying goes, find the bait and u find the fish. In your downtime, study shad movements throughout the season. This help ur quest for muskies on our shad based lakes. Things change a lot out there year to year so stay on top of the movements of the fish. I have fished it for over 25 years and I continue to learn. Being that I guide out there, I spend a lot of time every year chasing these fish and they certainly tend to move.

Keep it up Chris and you will figure those fish out. Most of all have fun doing it. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
