| now that all my musky waters are froze over or the ice is to far out to brake anymore, is it worth hitting the river this time of year. i dont river fish all that much but if its still productive to fish it,this is a good time to learn it.

By all means yes. Late fall is fantastic on rivers. I know that the Wisconsin river is good in the late fall in the slack water eddies behind the dams. |

| Duck all I fish is a river, we went 3 for 4 today with a 48 landed and the bigger one lost. So get out there and get yourself some. It is a great time to learn the waters by slow trolling cranks or suckers. [:sun:] |

| Rivers RULE this time of year. If you can still get out there, hit the slack water areas as Jason said, and look for anything that breaks the current, thecast to it. If the river allows for trolling, cover lots of water, as TM suggested. |
