I was up there just last week. It was very slow raised on fish of the big rock bar that was it for the week. The lake was brezzy most of the week and it seems when there's a strong wind that lake shuts down for a while. good luck a catch a pig.

I was on Big St. on Thursday (9/6). We had action from 10 different fish. The largest was about 45". I expected the topwater action to be good but we never raised one on topwater. Everything came on bucktails. I managed to get a nice fat 37" fish. Black hair/Silver blade was the magic combo. Seemed like most of the fish were nipping and not really committing. The 37" came from casting parallel to the weed edge off of a point that jetted out into deep water. Most of the good fish were relating to the mid lake structure or deep weed points that were adjacent to deep water.

Should be good when you are there. New Moon on the 17th.

Good Luck!
