Just received my new Terrova today and I have a question on the power cord. Do most of you install the terminal ends directly to the battery cables or do you cut the ends off and put a plug end on it. On my old power drive I have a plug on the end so I can unplug the motor when not in use. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would put a plug on it. That way you can remove the motor that much easier

Thanks for the replies, that is what I though also. When it was shipped to me today they already had krimped on ends so I was not sure. Now all I need is a new quick release mount. Minnkota change the base and made it longer on the Terrova, the set screw is now covered. Just have to wait until Monday now to get the plate.
