I'm going to Lake Of The Woods to have an internship this summer (Youngs Wilderness Camp), finally my dream has come true!

Anyway, i need to buy some lures that work well aroung that part of lake of the woods, what i've heard is smaller cranks and jerkbaits but i need more detail.

Double 10s or 8s for summer peak and prime conditions
Phantom or suick for early in the year or tough conditions
#9 willow blade spinnerbait for fishing cover all season
Topraider at lowlight when fish are going on blades
Jackpot or weagle at lowlight when fish are chasing jerkbaits and gliders
Big cranks for the fall

I will be going either just the start of the season or late July-August

tswoboda,
I've never caught a musky on a topwater bait. For the low light Topraider, on a good day - do you do a slow/steady plop plop plop, or a faster retrieve with water spraying? I'd really like to catch one this way. Thanks!
