Has anyone ever had this happen. I was fishing Eagle lake , Ont the end of July, I found a isolated weed patch 50 x100 feet I raised 2 muskie 50 incher and a 40 incher earlier in the day. I returned in the evening and caught the 50 inchers on a mag spinnerbait . The next day I returned and caught the 40 incher on a high swimming bulldog. right after catching the 40 incher I had a slow follow by what I beleive to be the same 50 inch muskie I had caught the day before The marking appeared to be the same. Has anyone ever seen a fish do that before. o

Haven't seen that before but I will say that's got to be pretty cool to see! Some day caught fish will go days maybe even weeks before they eat again! That would have been so sweet if you boated the same 50"er twice in two days! What a cool story!

I guess I have no personal experince with eagle but from what I've heard them 2 age classes seem to be huge there and the numbers are fairly high so it could be a good possibility it was different fish! but I would never say it coul'nt have been either!

Yes, some will stay in the same area. For 7 years straight I've caught the same fish from under one of 3 docks on the exact same bucktail. There have been seasons when I've caught this fish multiple times. Not all will stick around like this but some do. I know of people who've caught the same fish on Green Bay on back to back days.
