Location: Blaine, MN | Anyone fish the croix between the Nevers Dam landing north to the Couty O landing... or know where online I can find a detailed map, I seem to be stuck... I get to head there this weekend with the fellas for a "whatever is biting" trip and was just wondering if my 18' boat will be a viable option, or if we need to go smaller. and insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time. |

Location: Hudson, WI | Never been that far north, but I did fish from Lion's Park to just north of the Never's Dam landing when I was about 16 years old. Caught a pile of smallies. If I recall, there are a ton of rocks and almost no navigational buoys or markers. I'd go slow. |

Location: Minneapolis, MN | You probably could do it because of all the rain we've had lately... BUT with an 18 footer you'll spend more time raising motors, dodging rocks, trying to find deep channels, etc. than you will fishing. I'd go with something smaller for piece of mind. |
