Have just switched from a 12 volt trolling mot or to a 24 volt. I just realized I have 3 different batteries, 1-deep cycle 27 series, 1-deep cycle 24 series, (standard) and 1 Cabelas AGM battery (most power). I know they have different settings on a charger...... But my question is Which two batteries can I connect to get the 24 volts I need for the trolling motor ?????? I need the third battery for engine starting and electronics. These 3 batteries are all new.. Thanks Mike

Usually you should have 2 of the same batteries (deep cycle's) to run a 24 volt system. When they are different you risk running them down at different rates. At least this is what i have learned from others.

Yeah, use the deep cycle for the troll motor; the AGM for your cranking battery. I screwed up a AGM using a regular charger on it.
