alot of us are wondering what the water temps for MN's opener were. for some of you guys that were way up there, leech, vermilion, winnie ect. some water temps would be greatly apprciated.

Vermilion ranges from 48 in the big water to 54 in the shallow bays. Some warmer nights sure would help build some water temps. Had a low of 30 here last night on the east end.

thanks matt, thats exactly what i was hoping for. i will be on vermilion for opener, i was hoping the shallow bays where in the 50's. hopefully most if not all of the skies will be done spawning by opener. if the water temp stays above the mid 50's until then they should be pretty well finished up. thanks again for the post.

45 incher on cass,,,co worker just got back from cass for the walleye opener and one of his group got it on a jig and minnow,, the warmest water they saw was 51,,bring some grubs and jigs this year
