Any guys out there have any experience with engine mount motors? I was just wondering if they affect proformance of the motor at all?

From what I've heard from the walleye guys, no it does not. When your on plane and going, the unit is out of the water so it doesn't drag or effect your performance when running. It's been a good unit from what I've seen and heard, just about every walleye pro has one.

Here is a recent thread on WalleyeFIRST about the EM motors. Jason Przekurat is one of the pro walleye fisherman so take note of what he has to say about mounting the motor.
