Location: Bowling Green, KY | With advice from some members here I have decided I need a WF10I fly line to go with the WF10F line I already have. It will be casted with a TFO TiCrX 10 wt. rod. I have found some really good deals on Cortland 444SL (gray), Cortland 444 Rocket Taper (Sky Blue) and Rio Mainstream. Are any of these worthwhile or should I just bite the bullet and cough the dough for a Rio Striper or Outbound Short, or maybe the Airflo 40+ cold water? Any Suggestions for others would also be appreciated. |

Location: Ogden, Ut | If it's going to be cold water, avoid the saltwater lines, they get pretty stiff when cold. The heavy weight forwards should serve you well, depending on the weight of your bugs. The biggest ones can be a bit tough for any conventional line to turn over. I've heard good things about the both the Cortland and the Rio.

Location: WI | The guys I've talked to (Brad Bohen's buddies) use some kind of shooting head that airflow makes. I have one of their flies and I don't think I could cast it with a standard 9wt floating line.
Maybe Brad will show up here, or you can search his name (he also posts as aftonangler) and maybe find the info there. He posts on The Drake website regularly. |

Location: Kodiak, AK | For off the shelf lines, I like the Outbound short in both the tropical and the coldwater. They work well. Rio makes a good line. |
