Looking to buy a new trolling motor for my Crestliner 1750. Anybody have an opinion on the Minn Kota Edge 70? Thanks.

The 70 will be real good on there. Just make sure you get the longest shaft length and use the 24 volt and you will be happy. I had a older Maxum with about the same lbs on the same boat and it worked very well. No complaints on the size at all.

We have been using one for a few years and it has been flawless.

I'll second that on getting the longest shaft they make. I have an alumacraft Navigator and had to use a 60 inch Maxxum as I don' think they make the Edge in a 60 inch shaft, but I may be wrong on that. Good luck.
