What can anyone tell me about the late 80's deep V tillers. May be looking at one and wondering how they do for muskies. Not sure the model of the boat, all I know is it's 18' and powered with a 60hp.

Are you talking about a model called the Rampage? I have a 89 16 ft Rampage tiller and know that they also had an 18 foot version.

The 16 foot is a great one or two person boat that moves along fine with a 40 horse. It is stable and loads/unloads easy when I go alone.

It can ride two and pull a person on a tube.

I would buy one again without question.

It's a 180 XT. Great boat, sponsoned V hull, very stable at rest. Reasonable big water ride, but not a Great Lakes boat.

I think it is a Rampage judging by what little info I found on the web. Now worries Steve no plans on hitting the Great Lakes, Vermillion would be about the biggest, West Okoboji the wildest.
