What brand/model pliers do you recommend for .051 wire? I have a pair craftsman pliers that is only about 4.5" long that works for bass-sized spinner baits but it's just not big enough for making muskie bucktails.

Knipex makes some very good ones, that is what I use.

Second to Knipex.

it works really easy with both 0.51 & 0.62.

Mark me down for the Knipex as well ive only used the .051 wire but they work great. I got mine from Thorne Bros but i know R&H Musky Shop has them.
