I was very happy with the VMC 4651 hooks for my topwater baits, but unfortunately they are no longer being made and I have run out of the ones I had stocked up on.

Does anyone know of another model of hook that is round bend, extra strong with an extra short shank, in 2/0, 3/0 and 4/0 sizes?

Off the top of my head, that sounds alot like a saltwater live bait hook to me....I'd check those out and see if you can find something close. I use them alot as trailer hooks on my flies. I use Gamakatsu for the most part.

Sorry, should have included that these are treble hooks I'm looking for.
