Subject: Lubing an Induron

Hi I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to lubricate an Okuma Induron. I just got one and I want to figure this out before I do anything else. Thanks in advanced guys!

Don't worry it will break before it needs lube.

A drop of thin oil like Hot Sauce on each bearing will do on most any reel, and a thin coat of good reel grease like Reel
Butter or Hot Sauce grease on the gears maybe once every six months. Don't worry about the dude above too much, I have three Indurons and they have been going strong for two years with no sign of slowing down.

I have no experiance with the Iduron but I will warn you that I have seen A LOT more problems from over lubing reels then from under lubing them. Generally speaking if they are woring leave them be, adding lube for no reason is a sure way to slow the casting down on a reel real quick.
