I have a lund 1900 with a 100 hp tiller .Does any one know
of a marine dealer or marine mechanic that installs power
assist hydraulic steering (like Warrior) for large tiller
set-ups ? Warrior won't work on other brands .Southern
Wisconsin or Northern Illinois.
thanks ,dennis

Dennis,
I have a 115 tiller on a Tuffy and have no need for an assist. Is you motor that hard to hold? Sorry but I don't know of any place who sells what you are looking for.

T ,
Its not that its hard to control .Torque is completely removed with trim. The boat is a big recliner in the water.Lots of room ,storage and relatively smooth ride.
The problem is complete lack of speed. There are tiller boats being run with 150 or 175 hp motors.I'm looking
to go to 150. thanks

I have 2001 1990 Esox Deep V with a 115 Yamaha four stroke tiller. The boat is 20'1". Many people can't believe how easy the big tiller is to drive and handle. Basically once the boat is on plane I don't have to hang on at all. The amount of space is unbelievable.
