| Just curious if anyone has had luck on Okauchee this year? This is where I do most of my musky fishing and have only seen two fish (lazy follows). I've been hitting up the newest weeds in stumpy bay but to no aval. Even went out to the deeper breaks, but no one seems to be home. Typically, I twitch jakes this time of year and maybe a phantom. I know the water is a little cool yet, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts that might help.

I've fished Okauchee the last two Saturday mornings. I've been fortunate to boat 2 muskies that were both about 40". Both fish hit twitched minnow baits in the shallows. One hit a Jake and the other hit a Baby ShallowRaider. I like to hang a 3" grub tail off the back hook of my twitch baits. These are the only 2 muskies I've seen the last 2 times out so I was fortunate to boat them. I have thrown some other baits such as gliders, jerkbaits, bucktails, and topwater, but the twitchers aeem to be getting all the action. Keep at it. I've boated 3 muskies so far this year (including one at Pewaukee on opening day) and all my strikes have come between 8 and 8:30 AM. I don't know why that seems to be an action window.

| White on okauchee. Thats all I have to say and bucktails up high has been the ticket. Your right though the fish seem lazy. I haven't boated any but everything I've seen can in on white. Also everything I've seen has come out of 4' or less. |

Location: Germantown, WI | Here's some pictures of a couple of muskies I have boated on Okauchee this spring a 40" and 39.5". The first one I forgot to bring the tripod so all I have were some pictures in the net and the second one was my first time ever using the tripod. The 40" hit a white 6" Jake and 39.5" hit a Chartreuse Pikey Baby Shallowraider.
