Location: Lake Country, Wisconsin
90+% ice free but there is still some in Big Bay

What will it do to fishing? who knows, depends on what happens between now and then with the weather. I can tell you I feel late june would be a much better choice then early June..

Vermilion is totally open!

Today was my first day out and we did pretty good with the walleye.

The water is waayyyyy high so be careful. Watch out for floating debris. It is everywhere.

One of my customers is renting a place on Vermillion. I would like to get him a bucktail but I don't know what would be a good color. Does anyone have a suggestion for colors. He has never caught a musky yet so any help would be appreciated. Thanks Terry
