| Hey guys...
Is anyone familiar with the WMT series events?? We are considering signing up for the Madison event because we will be pre-fishing anyway so why not. Only problem I have is lack of interest (apparent) in this Tournament. As of Wed. evening, entries were only in the 20's of a possible 150. Just wondering if people are waiting or??????

| The WMT is a regional trail, and centers (obviously) only in Wisconsin. It takes a few seasons to build a circuit without major regional sponsorship and advertising, so the circuit has started out a bit slow as far as filling the field is concerned.[8)] |

| I also believe it will never get anywhere untill they get rid of the transport rule. It's pretty hard to start a new circuit with a dozen tournaments to fill as well. I am sure the money invested vs the payout with 20 teams or less much not be worth it to most out there. |

| A guy could pre-fish and atleast get some gas money soooo WHY NOT fish the WMT? This will concentrate musky techniques of a few boats to weed out the dead water & baits the fish are lookin' for. That's the real question WHY NOT? Is it "required" to transport? With low entries maybe the director could measure boatside...? Radio/cell phone..? |
