Fished there yesterday in the 85+ deg heat. Brother from Atlanta was in and wanted to throw for some ski's so we went down and caught a scrapy 32" at high noon.
Brother got his fix and we had a ball!!!
I wish I lived around the corner from Evergreen. It can be a great little lake for numbers and an occasional 40 plus fish or two.
Motor size limit keeps pleasure boats and jet skis away which is real nice!!
Talk to Thad as stated above. He's a great guy and will help you out.

STAY IN SCHOOL!! Dennis

Fish4,

Drop me an email at [email protected]. I go to the U of I and love having Shelbyville and Evergreen within a decent drive. I would also suggest contacting Thad Hinshaw about fishing Evergreen. I can give you his contact info, etc. if you drop me an email. I'd be more than willing to help you out, and if you are there next year you can hop in the boat some day with me!

For now, check out Thad's website: www.evergreenmuskie.com and look around.
