Location: Forest Lake, Mn | This past weekend we spent a couple of days on Mille Lacs taking our usual horse whipping. I noticed a few people fishing with bobbers and even talked to a guy who had caught a nice 42" northern on the north end using a quick strike rig (He had pictures of it on his phone). Just curious how many have tried this method and if there is a certain quick strike to use or perhaps to stay away from. I do like casting but after 6-7 hours of that a little stick fishing wouldn't hurt my feelings. Hope this does not open a can of worms because that is not my intention. Thanks for any tips or comments!
